Russian Foreign Ministry Reveals Timeline for Establishing Armenia-Azerbaijan Border Delimitation Commission
The Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation commission could be established in the near future. This announcement was made by Andrei Rudenko, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia.
He also stated that there are no issues regarding the implementation of agreements reached during the high-level meeting in Sochi. Rudenko emphasized that incidents of border tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan are unrelated to the situation in the peacekeepers' responsibility zone and are instead connected to the absence of international legal definitions of the state border, which is a legacy of the Soviet Union left to both Armenia and Azerbaijan.
