Residents of Ani Consolidated Community Block Yerevan-Gyumri Highway

Auroranews.am has learned that residents of Lanjik village (Ani consolidated community) in Shirak Province have blocked the Yerevan-Gyumri highway. According to reports, the reason for the blockage is the ongoing water issues in the community.

We contacted the Shirak regional administration, where they stated that they had no information about the blocked road or any protest action. We also attempted to reach Ani consolidated community leader Artak Gevorgyan, but he was unavailable and did not answer our calls. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
