Photo: 53-Year-Old Woman Becomes a Mother

The Shengavit Medical Center is concluding the year with an unprecedented and joyful event. Perhaps one should believe in the miracles of the New Year. This was reported by the medical center.

A 53-year-old woman (due to the patient's request, we do not disclose personal details and the description of the clinical case) turned to Shengavit Medical Center and consulted gynecologist-reproductive specialist Anna Khachatryan at the Reproductive Health Center. After overcoming several challenges, the long-awaited pregnancy was confirmed after an in vitro fertilization (IVF) attempt.

Throughout the pregnancy, the woman was under the direct supervision of Ashot Sirunyan, head of the obstetric services at Shengavit Medical Center. Considering the woman's age and health conditions, a cesarean section was performed by Ashot Sirunyan.

A healthy girl was born, and she was named Anahit. The emotional meeting between the mother and newborn in the delivery room was indescribable when the doctor first brought the newborn to the happy mother.

The delighted mother and baby Anahit are already home and express their gratitude to the medical staff of Shengavit Medical Center, the specialists, and their invaluable doctors Ashot Sirunyan and Anna Khachatryan for the opportunity of new life and a handful of happiness named Anahit.
