We Demand Homes to Be Built for Us: Protests by Residents of Hadrut Continue

In the infamous document of November 9, it is stated that those who are refugees and forcibly displaced should return, but we are not granted that status. This was stated today, December 27, during a protest, by Levon Hayryan, head of the Executive Body of the "For Hadrut" NGO, in an interview with journalists.

"We are not being given refugee status. The notorious document of November 9 indicates that those who are refugees and forcibly displaced should return, but we are not given that status. Our authorities do not grant us refugee status, which would be the basis for returning there. We also demand that homes be built for us in one location. As for social aid, it amounts to 25,000 drams; which person living in Yerevan can claim that this is sufficient? This constitutes inhumane treatment in this regard," he noted.
