Protest by Artsakh Residents in Front of Government

Residents of Artsakh are staging a protest in Republic Square. The displaced residents from Hadrut are voicing their housing issues.

“We have four questions and we expect answers to them. We all want to return to our homes. This is our first demand, and the authorities should consider this. Secondly, we are concerned about our status. The third main question is providing us with housing, and the fourth concerns social issues that deeply trouble our population,” said one of the residents from Hadrut.

Residents of Hadrut have been displaced for over a year, currently living in Armenia, and they claim to be deprived of social support. They indicate that initially, they benefited from social assistance programs, but the amounts were negligible for people in their situation.
