Pashinyan Clearly Stated to the People of Artsakh: ‘Whoever Can, Let Him Take Care of Himself’ - Tigran Abrahamyan
In the context of the latest developments related to Artsakh, Prime Minister Pashinyan not only destroyed the favorable foundations of the negotiation process for Armenia but also sent quite unpleasant messages to Azerbaijan, the mediating parties, and, most painfully, to our compatriots living in Artsakh. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the ‘Honorary’ faction in the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.
He noted that Pashinyan has informed Azerbaijan and the mediators that the issue of Artsakh no longer exists on its agenda, and those interested in this matter can talk to Russia, while directly stating to the people of Artsakh: 'Whoever can, let him take care of himself.'
Abrahamyan emphasized that no matter how skilfully the Pashinyan government pushes the Artsakh issue out of Armenia’s foreign political agenda, the issue of the existence of Artsakh and our compatriots living there must remain central to all Armenians, including those living across the globe, as well as Armenian political and social organizations and all Armenians concerned about the existence of this region.
The people living in Artsakh must clearly understand that we will never leave them alone, no matter what happens or who is in power. Most importantly, through collective efforts and mobilization of pan-Armenian resources, we must determine that Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan and move forward within that framework.
