Drones to Be Developed at Armenian-Russian University with 20 Million Dram Funding from the Ministry of High-Tech Industry
The Armenian-Russian University has received a grant from the Ministry of High-Tech Industry for the development of drones. The information was reported by the Armenian-Russian University.
For the implementation of the announced project, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry will provide 20 million dram to the Armenian-Russian University.
The primary aim of the project is to create a universal system for the construction, control, and management of small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which will allow the selection of equipment necessary for specific tasks. The drones will consist of modules; each module will have several alternative physical devices depending on the addressed issue.
The implementation of this project will facilitate the construction of various small and medium-sized drones with their essential software and functionalities.
The project is carried out within the framework of two new master's programs at the Armenian-Russian University: "Intelligent Systems and Robotics" and "Wireless Communication and Sensors." 14 students are participating in the program, with the university providing scholarships of 200,000 dram per month.
