5165 Movement Issues Statement

The recent statements made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan indicate a political line that undermines the Artsakh movement and calls into question the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination, laying the groundwork for the depopulation of that Armenian region. This is stated in a press release issued by the 5165 Movement.

"His formulations demean the military victories achieved at the cost of thousands of Armenian lives in the Artsakh struggle, undermining fundamental and irreversible diplomatic arrangements established in the negotiation process, preparing the Armenian people for the loss of Artsakh. Essentially, he is sending a message to the Armenian people that it is pointless to fight for the homeland and the just and historical rights of the Armenian people, contrasting it with a false and unrealistic prospect of 'living well.'

All of this gives grounds to assert that Nikol Pashinyan and his team do not represent the national and state interests of the Armenian people, and their governance is leading our statehood to destruction. The activities of the 5165 Movement are clearly directed against this genocidal political logic, and on this basis, we strive for the removal of Nikol Pashinyan.

We call for all partisan and domestic political agendas to be subordinated to this imperative. We express our support for the Artsakh National Assembly regarding the statement condemning Pashinyan's anti-national and anti-state behavior," the statement reads.
