Tonoyan to Remain in Custody
The Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Tigran Simonyan, has granted an extension of two months for the custody of former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan.
It is worth recalling that Davit Tonoyan is accused of embezzling 2,277,323,840 Armenian drams and committing forgery and public endangerment offenses. His detention has been selected as a measure of restraint.
In this case, the status of the accused also includes Davit Galstyan, the head of the company supplying weapons to Armenia, and Stepan Galstyan, the deputy chief of staff, who are also in custody.
