“Thank you for raising heroic sons for the homeland”: President meets with parents of fallen servicemen
The President of the Republic, Armen Sarkissian, today met with a group of parents whose sons were killed during the 44-day war in Artsakh while serving in the Nth infantry battalion.
The parents of the soldiers expressed their concerns to President Sarkissian, sharing details about their sons’ service. They sorrowfully noted that the heroism of their children, who fell valiantly in defense of their homeland, has not been duly recognized to this day.
President Sarkissian listened to their concerns and troubling questions. They suggested presenting facts and detailed information to the Office of the President to assist in addressing the raised issues as much as possible. President Sarkissian expressed his solidarity with the parents of the soldiers and wished them resilience: “I deeply share your grief and thank you for raising heroic sons for the homeland.”
