‘Russians and the USSR Were Created by Ukrainians’ – Statement from Zelensky’s Office

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s chief advisor Oleksiy Arestovych has stated that Russians and the USSR were created by Ukrainians. He remarked, “Clowns, we created your Russia and we created your Soviet Union, and during the best years of the Soviet Union, it was led by Ukrainians – the Dnipro group. Count the heroes of the Soviet Union, those with last names ending in ‘enko’ who are Ukrainians,” Arestovych said.

Arestovych referred to Ukrainians as the “authors of two empires” and asserted that if necessary, Ukrainians could repeat this feat.

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned during an annual press conference that Ukraine was created by Lenin. In response to a Sky News reporter, Putin said that “the United States and Mexico also had territorial claims, but now no one remembers them.” He added, “And we too are trying not to remember how Ukraine developed. Who created it? Vladimir Lenin, when he established the Soviet Union,” said Putin.
