Representatives of Azerbaijani and Armenian Societies Meet in Moscow
Representatives of Azerbaijani and Armenian societies held their first meeting in Moscow after the end of the armed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, during which they discussed measures aimed at alleviating tensions between the peoples of the two countries. This was reported by TASS, citing a source close to the negotiations.
“On December 23 and 24, the first meeting after the end of the armed conflict took place in Moscow between representatives of the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities, with the participation of Mikhail Shvytkiy, the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for international cultural communication. The participants discussed measures to ease tensions between the two peoples and agreed to continue communication in 2022,” said the agency's source.
