Pashinyan and Sargsyan Attend Rima Demirchyan's Funeral Service

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Armen Sargsyan participated in the funeral service for Rima Demirchyan, the wife of Armenia's National Hero and political figure Karen Demirchyan. The information was reported by the government's press service.

The ceremony took place at the St. John the Baptist Church in Kond.

It is recalled that Rima Demirchyan passed away on December 21 at the 'Erebuni' Medical Center. She was 88 years old. In recent years, she served as the director of the 'Karen Demirchyan' charitable foundation. Prior to that, Rima Demirchyan lectured at the Polytechnic University for many years.

Karen and Rima Demirchyan have two sons, Stepan Demirchyan and Samvel Demirchyan.
