Details Released from the Closed Meeting Between Pashinyan and the CSTU

The "Jamanak" newspaper reports that details have emerged from the closed meeting held yesterday between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the ruling Civil Contract party (CSTU). During the meeting, the Prime Minister shared specifics from his recent visit to Brussels last week. He informed the group about the meetings he attended, what was discussed, and what to expect moving forward.

According to our sources, Pashinyan considers the visit to be effective, as concrete agreements were reached, highlighted by the subsequent return of Armenian prisoners of war. It should be noted that on December 14, a trilateral meeting took place in Brussels with Prime Minister Pashinyan, President of the European Council Charles Michel, and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

During yesterday's closed session, Pashinyan primarily spoke, while several CSTU deputies asked questions regarding expectations after the meeting.

Incidentally, there was no discussion regarding the ousting of former Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, as according to our CSTU sources, the topic of "Hayko" is already considered "closed" within the team. There is a new mayor, with whom Nikol Pashinyan met yesterday.
