Azerbaijani Special Forces Deployed in Occupied Hadrut

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has announced the deployment of Azerbaijani special forces in the occupied Hadrut region of Artsakh.

As reported by Azerbaijani media, Aliyev stated, "New military units and commando forces have been stationed at the military base in Hadrut. The establishment of commando forces is an innovation for us." He made this statement during the inauguration of the military unit.

According to him, the brigades will be ready to perform any military task. The Azerbaijani president also mentioned that “there will be many such brigades.”

It is noteworthy that Hadrut was seized by Azerbaijani forces during the aggression against Artsakh in the autumn of 2020.
