What Will Be the Cost of Coronavirus Treatment for Unvaccinated Citizens?

In case of having COVID symptoms, citizens can get tested for free at their polyclinic, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said in a conversation with reporters after a government meeting.

Regarding discussions about paid treatment for unvaccinated citizens after January, the minister stated: “We are currently conducting calculations to understand how much the cost of treating coronavirus will be. The state has invested all necessary resources to ensure that citizens also have access to treatment opportunities. However, as public immunity develops, we need to consider that for those citizens who do not want to protect their health in a much more effective and significantly less costly manner, we should look into the possibility of making this service paid.”
