In recent days, the authors of the initiative and their party members have stated that Haik Marutyan has deviated from revolutionary values. The mayor addressed several issues in his speech, revealing developments happening within the team.

Marutyan reminded that after the snap elections in 2018, they began to work, and suddenly one day they learned that members of the government, revolutionary members, had secretly decided to sharply raise their salaries. For example, ministers receive 1.5 million drams.

Marutyan noted that this was about clean money. Deputy ministers earn 1 million drams, and according to Marutyan, this was done by secret decision concerning 'revolutionary ministers'. 'I am not talking about the so-called technocrats in the state system, who are professionals and should be valued for their work regardless of everything. I am talking about ideological revolutionaries, those who participated in the revolution and received positions thanks to it. I thought that the supreme goal of a revolutionary should be to improve the lives of others, but in reality, they came and immediately started to improve their own lives, while the poverty rate in the country continued to fluctuate around 30 percent,' said Haik Marutyan.
