The Next Candidate for Mayor is Also Not Affiliated with a Political Party: Armen Kotolyan
The work that could have been done in a very short time could have been done faster. I am confident that many issues will be resolved more quickly during Hrachya Sargsyan's term. This was stated by Armen Kotolyan, a member of the Yerevan Council from the 'My Step' faction, in a conversation with reporters, noting that he supports the process of expressing no confidence in Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan.
In response to the comment whether he realized the mayor was unable to complete tasks within tight deadlines only after he left the political party, Kotolyan replied that leaving a political party is not an obstacle, as the next candidate for mayor, Hrachya Sargsyan, is also not affiliated with a political party.
Addressing circulating rumors regarding an alleged instruction to boycott the council meeting on the procurement of new buses, Kotolyan stated that he spoke with council members and was in favor of replacing the currently purchased buses with European ones. Since they were unable to remove the issue from the agenda, he decided not to participate in the meeting, not wishing to vote.
