"Our friendship takes us through thorns to the stars": Allen Simonian once took pride in his friendship with Marutyan

Chairman of the National Assembly, Allen Simonian, who was once a friend of Hayk Marutyan, recently made a rather harsh post in response to Marutyan's speech today, directed at his former friend. Notably, it was revealed today, through his post, that Marutyan is Simonian's former friend, as he referred to Marutyan as a former mayor ahead of the vote results being known, as reported by Hraparak.am.

In his post, he stated that Hayk Marutyan today gave a "narcissistic, convulsive, and evasive speech by a person who is willing to say anything and exploit any theme to justify his betrayal and cowardice." He went on to label Marutyan as “Tqzar” and ended with a reprimand.

However, on December 18, 2019, on Hayk Marutyan's birthday, Allen Simonian had published a photo with his friend Hayk Marutyan, writing: "People talk a lot about us, invent various things, and gossip, while we have been doing one of the hardest things for decades: taking our friendship through thorns to the stars. Happy birthday, dear Hayk Marutyan!"
