Mirzoyan and Lavrov Held a Phone Conversation

On December 22, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This information was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the phone call, a wide range of issues related to the implementation of agreements reached in the trilateral statement of November 26 in Sochi were discussed. The importance of taking steps toward de-escalating the situation and enhancing stability and security along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was emphasized, as well as the formulation of mechanisms concerning border delimitation and demarcation.
