Hakob Karapetyan Says Farewell to His Position

The recently former spokesperson of Yerevan's mayor, Haik Marutyan, Hakob Karapetyan, has made a farewell post on his Facebook page. He expressed his gratitude: “I thank my colleagues in the city hall staff, and I thank my media partners for our joint efforts. I am thankful to Mayor Haik Marutyan for the trust and the opportunity for this invaluable experience.”

It should be noted that Hrachya Sargsyan was elected as the new mayor of Yerevan following a vote by the members of the city council. The votes were distributed as follows: 44 in favor, 10 against. The number of participants in the voting was 57. Three ballots were declared invalid.
