Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov Have Had a Phone Conversation: What Was Discussed

On December 22, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This was announced by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the phone call, a wide range of issues regarding the implementation of the agreements reached in the trilateral statement of November 26 in Sochi were discussed. The conversation emphasized the importance of taking steps to de-escalate the situation and to enhance the level of stability and security along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as the establishment of mechanisms for the delimitation and demarcation of the state border.
