Russian figure skater and world champion Dmitry Soloviev has been hospitalized due to injuries sustained during a brawl in Moscow. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the athlete's manager Elena Bolotova.
Bolotova stated that the incident occurred last night. Dmitry attempted to defend his partner, curler Anna Sidorova, which escalated into a physical confrontation.
Bolotova noted that the athlete was alone while the men who assaulted him were three in number.
“We are waiting for details from the doctors regarding his health condition, diagnosis, and the consequences of what happened,” said the manager.
