Tragic Car Accident in Tavush Region: Range Rover, BMW X5, and Opel Collide, 3 Dead, 2 Injured

Today, December 21, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Tavush region.

Around 19:50, vehicles including a BMW X5, Range Rover, and Opel collided on the second kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, heading from Ijevan to Noyemberyan.

According to Shamshyan.com, three individuals died at the scene, and two others were transported to the hospital.

The investigative department has initiated proceedings under part 3 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (a traffic accident resulting in the death of two or more people).

The police and investigative units are working to identify the deceased, the drivers, and the injured parties.
