Putin and Macron Acknowledge Stabilization of Situation in Nagorno-Karabakh
Within the framework of high-level periodic communication between Russia and France, a telephone conversation took place today between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French leader Emmanuel Macron. This is reported by the official website of the Russian president.
Putin congratulated Macron on the occasion of his birthday, and both leaders exchanged mutual wishes for the New Year and Christmas.
Among other issues, the two leaders also exchanged views on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. They noted with satisfaction the stabilization of the situation and the efforts being made towards establishing peaceful life, as well as the restoration of transport and economic links in the region.
It was emphasized that Russia and France are cooperating on these issues and intend to continue working together in the future.
