Protest in Parakar: Two Mayors Elected

Residents of Parakar community have been protesting since early morning in support of Valodia Grigoryan, the mayoral candidate from the "Living Country" party. According to Pastinfo, this protest follows the first session of the newly elected council that took place yesterday, December 20, after the local government elections on December 5 in the consolidated community of Parakar.

Both candidates for mayor, Davit Minasyan from the "Davit Minasyan" alliance and Valodia Grigoryan from the "Living Country" party, announced on their Facebook pages that they have been elected as the community's leader.

A group of Parakar residents continues to stage a protest in front of the town hall, demanding that Valodia Grigoryan from the "Living Country" party be appointed as the community's mayor.
