Peacekeepers Release Photos of Azerbaijanis Returned by Armenia

The official Telegram channel of the Russian peacekeeping contingent stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh has published photographs of two Azerbaijani soldiers handed over to Azerbaijan on December 20.

The images show that representatives from the Armenian Armed Forces participated in the negotiations, alongside officials from Azerbaijan, the detained Azerbaijani servicemen, and a representative of the Russian contingent.

According to the photos, the soldiers were returned as a result of signing relevant documents. Their return was facilitated through Russian mediation.

"The Russian peacekeeping contingent has handed over two Azerbaijani soldiers from the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, who were detained in the Syunik region on December 18," the accompanying message stated.
