Turkey and Russia are in Close Dialogue on Regional Issues, Says Turkish Foreign Minister

Turkey and Russia are finding solutions even for regional issues where they have differing views, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"We are in close dialogue with Russia on regional issues. Even where we have different approaches, we are solving the issues with a responsible approach, based on the premise that the most important thing is the peace and prosperity of the region," the Turkish minister stated.

He added that Turkey is keen to continue effective cooperation with Russia based on mutual respect and common interests.
