New Corridor Iran-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Black Sea-Europe to be Activated

This week, the new corridor connecting Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Black Sea, and Europe will be activated. This was announced by Seyed Abbas Mousavi, the Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan, on his Twitter page.

The official specifically noted that the corridor will commence operation following a trial run of the North-South Corridor (Finland, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Persian Gulf, and India).

It was previously reported that Iran, Azerbaijan, and Georgia had agreed to create a transit route connecting the Persian Gulf with the Black Sea.
