Snowfall in Several Regions of Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that it is snowing in the Shirak region's Amasia area and in the city of Jermuk in the Vayots Dzor region.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for trucks with trailers. The roads leading from Amberd Fortress in Aragatsotn to Kari Lake and from Zovuni village to Kores canyon are closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
