Opposition Holds Protest in Central Yerevan Against Recent Arrests

At this moment, the opposition is holding a protest in the center of Yerevan. The rally is taking place in front of the Supreme Judicial Council, opposing recent arrests. The purpose of the demonstration is to halt the political persecutions that have begun following the local government elections and to release opposition political figures who have been unlawfully imprisoned.

Citizens gathered in front of the building carried signs reading, "The Prosecutor's Office is not a place for thugs," "Freedom for political prisoners," and "Is Jhangiryan in the past or present?"
