Opposition Begins Process to Dismiss Chief Prosecutor

The actions you are taking by carrying out illegal orders are attempts to break the resilience of the Armenian people, and we will not allow that, stated Artsvik Minasyan, the Secretary of the Parliamentary "Hayastan" faction, in front of the Prosecutor General's office.

"The criminal cases you are handling as supervising prosecutors will ultimately be your responsibility. We call on you to stop serving illegal orders and those who give them," the MP said.

Artsvik Minasyan announced that they are initiating the process for the dismissal of the Chief Prosecutor: "As members of Parliament, as the opposition, we are starting the process for the dismissal of Chief Prosecutor Artur Davtyan."
