Change in Mask-Wearing Requirements
Considering the recent decrease in the primary incidence of coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia, the requirement to wear masks in public outdoor spaces has been declared invalid in order to ease restrictive measures.
At the same time, it is important to note that the mandatory requirement to wear masks indoors remains in effect, with certain exceptions. These exceptions include children aged 0-5 years, occupants of their residential spaces (homes, apartments), individuals speaking and delivering messages during protocol events led by the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Catholicos of All Armenians, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council (excluding journalists and service staff), travelers in personal vehicles (except when conducting irregular passenger transportation), those engaged in sign language interpretation during television broadcasts, individuals with varying degrees of hearing and speech impairments (who rely on lip movements to understand speech) and their assistants, as well as during smoking, drinking, and eating, in cases specified by other health regulations approved by the Minister of Health, television hosts when alone in the studio during broadcasts, individuals with mental disorders and behavioral disturbances, those with cognitive impairments, and individuals with facial injuries or those who have undergone oral and maxillofacial interventions.
