After the Recommissioning of Amulsar, the Company Will Transfer Large Amounts to the State Budget: Lydian Armenia's Statement

Remaining committed to its obligation of transparency and accountability, Lydian Armenia presents the payments made to the budgets of the enlarged communities adjacent to Amulsar (Jermuk, Zaritap, Gorayk) in exchange for land leasing during 2021.

In 2021, the company paid the Jermuk (Gndevaz) community 362,869 USD equivalent in Armenian drams, the Zaritap (Saravan) community 238,867 USD equivalent in Armenian drams, and the Gorayk community 225,640 USD equivalent in Armenian drams.

In total, Lydian Armenia paid 827,376 USD to the three communities in 2021, and since 2008 has transferred over 8 million USD.

Despite being unable to carry out activities over the past 3.5 years due to the situation surrounding the Amulsar project, Lydian Armenia has still diligently fulfilled all its obligations. Furthermore, even under these circumstances, Lydian Armenia was also the 27th largest taxpayer in Armenia over a period of 9 months in 2021, contributing 8 million 450 thousand USD in taxes to the state budget.

We are confident that after the recommissioning of the Amulsar project, the cash flows from the company will multiply and significantly increase to local and state budgets. This will naturally have a positive impact on the social and economic development of our country and especially the communities adjacent to Amulsar.
