The 'Guardian of the Revolution' Will Receive a New Position: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that according to its sources, Haik Stepanyan, one of the founders of the 'Guardians of the Revolution' initiative, is no longer working in the parliament. As is known, Stepanyan joined the parliament in September, holding the position of assistant to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian. We have learned that he was dismissed from his job the day before.

In fact, Alen Simonian's decision is not accidental. It should be reminded that on December 7, a brawl occurred in the parliament, for which an investigation is underway at the NSS, and members of the ruling party, their assistants, and the assistants of opposition deputies involved in the incident have been summoned by the investigative body.

The point is that members of the ruling faction are raising concerns that the person involved in the brawl case against former Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan and who attacked the 'Azatutyun' radio station cannot work as an assistant to a deputy. In order to prevent the opposition from using the fact that one of the founders of the 'Guardians of the Revolution' was working in the National Assembly against Alen Simonian, especially since he had also attacked the 'Hayeli' club with eggs, Haik Stepanyan was removed from the National Assembly.

The Speaker of the National Assembly has become untouchable on this matter. There are discussions in the Assembly that the 'guardian of the revolution' will soon receive a new position in the State Oversight Service.
