Social Assistance Extended for Residents of Shurnukh and Vorotan Who Lost Residential Property

Due to coming under Azerbaijani control, residents of Shurnukh and Vorotan in the Syunik province of the Republic of Armenia who have lost residential property registered at their addresses, either officially or in fact, will receive social assistance for an additional five months. The government has adopted the corresponding decision.

According to the justification, beneficiaries will receive a one-time payment of 300,000 drams and monthly support of 68,000 drams. Beneficiaries have already been provided with the one-time and monthly financial assistance for the period from February to July 2021. However, considering the existing circumstances, it was deemed appropriate to continue providing assistance for another five months.

Moreover, financial aid, including the one-time payment of 300,000 drams, will also be given to children born after July 1, 2021, whose parent is a beneficiary receiving support under this program.
