Mamikon Aslanyan Arrested

The Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court, presided over by Judge Arusyak Aleksanyan, has just decided to grant the request of the RA Special Investigation Service to arrest Mamikon Aslanyan, the candidate for mayor of Vanadzor from the "Mamikon Aslanyan" coalition. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by attorney Yervand Varosyan.

He mentioned that Aslanyan has been arrested for two months. However, the legal team has not yet received the court's decision. Varosyan stated that after receiving the decision, they will appeal it to the Court of Appeals.

It should be noted that it was reported yesterday that former Vanadzor municipal leader Mamikon Aslanyan has been detained.
