I Apologize That Our Beloved City Will Soon Be Led by a Faceless and Incompetent Individual: Mesrop Arakelyan

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Mesrop Arakelyan, addressed the situation at the Yerevan City Hall and the nomination of a new mayoral candidate in a Facebook post.

“Dear residents of Yerevan, I apologize that our beloved city will soon be led by a faceless and incompetent individual, to whose work and political career I have had an exclusive contribution. I regret that during these difficult times, the residents of Yerevan are faced with yet another inevitable and guaranteed disappointment.

This individual, who demanded the resignation of the Prime Minister after the war, yet considers his position to be above that, will turn the governance of Yerevan into such chaos that you will long for the previous, and even the ones before them, mayors.

I will do my utmost to rid not only my personal and political arena but also all governance levels of our beloved city of this individual who has long been thrown out. P.S. Before it’s too late, open your eyes…”
