How Much Money Has Been Spent from the State Budget on the Renovation of Alen Simonyan's Government Residence? Aragnaz Manukyan Asks
Member of the "Armenia" faction, Aragnaz Manukyan, posted on her Facebook page: "How much money has been spent from the state budget on the renovation of Alen Simonyan's government residence? Not satisfied with purchasing a $200,000 padavat at the expense of the budget, now Alen Simonyan is also renovating the government residence to move there.
It should be noted that we previously reported that the presidential office confirmed the information that Alen Simonyan will soon be moving to the Kond government summer house and that it is currently under renovation.
Accordingly, I have requested clarification from the head of the Government Staff Arayik Harutyunyan and the head of the National Assembly Staff Vahan Naribekyan regarding the following questions:
- Which specific government residence is being renovated for Alen Simonyan?
- When did the renovation work begin and when will it be completed?
- How much money has been spent and will be spent on the renovation of that residence, and from which sources has this money been allocated?
- How much money will be spent on furnishing that residence? From which company will the furniture be acquired, and has a competition been announced for furnishing Alen Simonyan's government residence, or was the purchase made from a single source?
- When was that residence last renovated and how much money was spent for that purpose?
- Is the former Speaker of the National Assembly and now Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan still residing in his government residence? If so, when does he plan to vacate it and return it to the government's balance sheet?
- How much money was spent on Ararat Mirzoyan's residence renovation, in which year, and from which sources? When was it last renovated and how much money was spent for that purpose?
- How much money was spent on Nikol Pashinyan's residence renovation, in which year, and from which sources? When was it last renovated and how much money was spent for that purpose?
I will inform you as soon as I receive the response."
