General Manvel Grigoryan's Son and Grandson Suspected of Assaulting a Citizen Near Shangri La Casino

According to Shamshyan.com, materials are being prepared in the investigative division of the Kotayk Police regarding materials received from the Erebuni division on December 4.

On that day, around 20:30, a report was received at the Erebuni division of the police from the Muratsan Medical Center stating that a citizen had been brought in with diagnoses of "left temporal laceration, left postauricular hematoma."

As reported by Shamshyan.com, the on-duty team of the Erebuni division of police, led by an investigator, arrived at the hospital. It was revealed that the victim is 47-year-old Nazarit Yenokyan, a resident of Yerevan.

The Erebuni police, in cooperation with their colleagues from the Kotayk division, found that on the same day, around 18:00, a dispute had occurred near Abovyan Street, No. 5, between N. Yenokyan and residents of the Armavir region, 42-year-old Karen Grigoryan and his son Manvel Grigoryan. During the altercation, according to N. Yenokyan, they beat him with their hands and feet, causing injuries.

According to G. Shamshyan, the Kotayk police identified K. Grigoryan, who provided an explanation about the incident and was then released.

According to the photojournalist, K. Grigoryan is the son of Major General Manvel Grigoryan, the former mayor of Echmiadzin.
