"Hraparak" newspaper reports: "The issue of changing the governor of Syunik is on the agenda of the authorities, as Nikol Pashinyan is in search of a strong individual who can unite the region in the face of upcoming developments. Our sources in Syunik indicate that this news has also reached the governor's ears, leading Melikset Poghosyan to take a 12-day vacation, trying to keep himself away from any possible trouble.

It is noteworthy that he has appointed his deputy Karo Avetisyan as the acting governor, although usually, Narek Babayan would be designated as the replacement during his absence.
