25 Units of 'Kamaz-4308' to be Allocated from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Emergency Situations

According to a proposal from the Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia, today the government decided to reallocate 25 units of "Kamaz-4308" transportation vehicles from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The justification for the decision states that the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is responsible for saving lives and preserving health during emergencies and wartime, organizing and conducting rescue, emergency rescue, urgent, search and rescue, disaster recovery, and firefighting operations.

Additionally, the decision to transfer the vehicles from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of Emergency Situations was made to ensure a rapid and more efficient response to incidents, transport equipment and necessary supplies for firefighting in large fires in forested and hard-to-reach areas, and provide food supplies through mobile kitchens.
