Road from Zovuni to Koryan Valley Closed: Situation in the Republic

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

The road from Amberd Fortress to Karadiz Lake in Aragatsotn Province is closed. Due to the risk of landslides, the road from Zovuni village to Koryan Valley is temporarily closed.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open.

Drivers are recommended to travel exclusively with winter tires.
