Generals Guarantee for Ashot Minasian

"The Defense Council of Ashot Minasian" has published a joint statement of guarantee from former Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov, and former Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Norat Ter-Grigoryants. The statement reads:

"Yesterday, we learned from the press that highly respected individuals are willing to undertake personal guarantees for the release of Ashot Minasian from custody. We, the undersigned generals, personally know Ashot Minasian, are well aware of his heroic path, and assure that he has never resorted to illegal actions and will not do so in the future. We confidently guarantee that Ashot Minasian will not hide, will not obstruct the course of the investigation, and will not commit any acts prohibited by law."
