Fatal Hit-and-Run in Kotayk Region: Pedestrian Dies on the Spot, Driver Flees

Today, December 15, a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 7:20 AM, the driver of an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian on the 41.5 km stretch of the Yerevan-Sevan highway and fled the scene, leaving the victim helpless.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the pedestrian died on the spot. Police have identified the deceased based on operational information. He was 58-year-old Yurik Ghayramanyan.
