Arthur Vanetsyan Refuses to Testify at NSS: What Case Led to His Summons
Former Director of the National Security Service, Arthur Vanetsyan, was summoned for questioning today. It appeared that the NSS had reopened the case regarding the conspiracy to assassinate Nikol Pashinyan, for which Ashot Minasyan is currently detained. Alternatively, they might be investigating the violent incidents in Parliament, or perhaps they have resumed the false proceedings related to last year's public protests and attempts at constitutional coup.
However, it turned out that the questioning was in connection with a non-political case, in his capacity as a former director of the NSS. Vanetsyan declined to testify, signed a statement not to disclose the pre-trial secrecy, and left.
