Arrest of Mamikon Aslanyan Aims to Sabotage Election Process: Statement

The Mamikon Aslanyan alliance has issued a statement asserting that Aslanyan's arrest is aimed at sabotaging the election process.

“Dear compatriots, we inform you that Mamikon Aslanyan has been arrested exclusively with the purpose of undermining the community leader election process. He has stated that his will is unyielding, and his cause is just. Stay strong, dear Vanadzor residents,” the statement reads.

As previously reported, Mamikon Aslanyan has been accused of exceeding official powers, misusing them, and committing official forgery.
