“People Forget That I Am Armenian” – Kim Kardashian

Television star Kim Kardashian addressed accusations of blackfishing (the appropriation of Black culture) in an interview with Jeremy Harris for i-D Magazine. The star faced criticism due to her hairstyle.

“Honestly, in a lot of cases, this happens because of my daughter – she asks us to do similar hairstyles. And I’ve had conversations with her, ‘Hey, maybe this hairstyle suits you more than it suits me,’” Kim shared.

The television personality noted that there is a tradition of braiding in Armenia. “People forget that I am Armenian,” she added.
