More Than 70 Children Hospitalized in Tuva Boarding School
In the Republic of Tuva, Russia, doctors have hospitalized 74 children from a boarding school. They exhibited signs of food poisoning. This information has been reported by 360tv.
On December 13, more than 20 children were admitted to the hospital with similar symptoms, according to the regional emergency situations ministry's website.
As of 5:30 AM Moscow time (6:30 AM Yerevan time), the number of hospitalized children has reached 74, with preliminary diagnosis indicating food poisoning. The condition of the children is assessed as satisfactory. Quarantine measures are being carried out in the area of the boarding school, as stated by the ministry.
The department has noted that doctors are examining the affected individuals. An operational group from the Republic's emergency situations ministry has been deployed to assist.
