Human Rights Defender Visits Soldiers Returned from Azerbaijan and Later Imprisoned

Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan noted on his Facebook page: "On my instruction, we conducted visits today to the Armenian soldiers who returned from Azerbaijani captivity and were subsequently imprisoned.

In the 'Armavir' and 'Nubarashen' penitentiaries, private conversations took place with them, documents were reviewed, and their rights situation was assessed, including from the time of captivity onwards.

We just summarized our visits, and based on the outcomes, necessary letters will be addressed to the relevant state bodies. Other necessary steps will be taken."
